About the wine
The Simpsons would not rest until they had mastered the ultimate classy English fizz
- Charles and Ruth Simpson threw everything into the making of their brand new Beora Reserve. Hand selecting the grapes before fermenting, diving head first into rigorous rounds of tasting, and finally deciding on the ultimate blend to send of for 18 months luxuriously aging on yeast lees.
- 'Created from Estate grown Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier grapes, our Classic Method Classic Cuvée is the epitome of English elegance.'
- 'Pale gold in colour, it has a complex mineral nose with bright citrus flavours, and impressive precision and length. Excellent as an aperitif to savour and a perfect companion to some freshly shucked Whitstable Oysters.'

Meet the winemaker - Charles & Ruth Simpson
- 18 years ago, Charles & Ruth took a leap into the unknown. They quit their dull, corporate jobs. Hopped on the first plane to France. And bought up their own little patch of grape-growing land in Southern France.
- It turned out to be an inspired move. Since then their delicious, Angel-exclusive wines haven’t stopped scooping IWC and Decanter World Wine Awards and rave reviews from wine-critic royalty.
- Their dream was always to return to their roots, making English wine in Blighty. Your backing also gave them the confidence to do just that! In 2014 they returned to their roots and planting their first English vineyard near Canterbury.
