        • After years under the thumb of corporate wineries Connie managed to break free and, thanks to Angel funding, something rather special has been happening in recent years; growers are now coming to her with their grapes instead of going to the giant wineries that dominate the Chilean wine industry.
        • Central Valley is one of the prime wine areas in Chile for growing top-notch red grapes and, for this Grenache, Carignan, Mouverdre blend, inspired by her love by Mediterrenean blends. She harvested day by day to make sure each grape was at its optimum ripeness and then left the wine in plush French oak barrels for months.
        • The result? A fresh, fruity red that’s beautifully balanced and boasts a lusciously long finish. Without your support this wine would never have happened so give yourselves a big pat on the back for being a huge part of Connie's success.

        • I believe honest wines reflect the region they’re from - my passion is producing classic Spanish wines that really bring our culture to life for Angels.
        • And thanks to our high-altitude vineyard in Central Castile (one of Spain’s most underrated wine regions), sunny days and cool nights produces really intense fruit, while retaining that all-important freshness.
        • Using authentic winemaking techniques and 21st century innovation, I’ve made a smooth, ripe, juicy red that’s versatile for any occasion.

        • Luca’s ruby red blend of Carignan and Grenache comes from gnarly 80-year old vines in the rolling hills of the Maule Valley.

        • Luca aims to produce wines that are as natural as possible, that really express the grapes and the place they were grown.

        • Light, fruity with heaps of character. Fans of Pinot Noir and Beaujolais look no further, this one is for you!

        • Chile's Colchagua Valley is typically known for its big, bold grape varieties, but Jorge didn't leave his big corporate wine job four years ago to craft predictable wines. He's discovered an exciting coastal pocket with great potential for Pinot Noir, that won't be much of a secret for long...
        • Jorge's delicious Pinot Noir is fresh, bright and ripe, bursting with juicy red berry flavours balanced by some delicate earthy notes. Its silky smooth texture and vibrant jump-out-of-the-glass flavours make it oh-so-gluggable.
        • For four years Angels have been backing Jorge in his independent winemaking journey, and he's grateful for every second. Jorge says "Thank you very much for the support. I am pleased to show a Pinot Noir wine from a different place in Chile. A lot of hard work and passion stands behind this wine".

        • We first heard Claudio’s story in the summer of 2019 when a hip operation had left him struggling to manage his vineyard and a winemaker friend stepped in to help. That friend was our very own Carlos Rodriguez...
        • Claudio had previously sold all his juice to the big wineries for supermarket blends but Carlos realised straightaway that the grapes were too good for that so he sent us some samples and we couldn’t say yes fast enough!
        • From the finest 40 year old Tempranillo vines comes this single vineyard Rioja that’s brimming with intense fruit, vanilla and chocolate aromas and flavours. The finest oak aging delivers a silky-smooth finish too so grab and glass and tuck straight in, knowing you have made an old man's dreams come true.

        • Chile is Pinot Noir Paradise - hot days and cold nights, an ultra long growing season, a thick blanket of fog (nature’s air conditioning), and just the right amount of water.

        • Deep ruby red, this wine is packed full of strawberries, raspberries and delicate violet aromas. Enough to get anyone's mouth watering.

        • Connie recommends a delicious fish dish, baked with cheese ‘a la parmesana’ as the ultimate match for her Pinot. Sounds dreamy!

        • Our Angels left us in a bit of a pickle after drinking us dry of our most popular wines during lockdown. So we opened our little black book of wine contacts to capture some quality wines from around the world without a home.
        • This stonking Chilean Merlot comes from 25 year old vines, high on the slopes of a family owned estate where that long hot days and cool nights make for the perfect conditions for Merlot. Needless to say our hopes were lived out when we tasted the wine.
        • This wine is dark and fleshy with ripe, succulent plums, hints of spice and a wonderfully long, velvet-like finish. The grapes have been hand picked at the crack of dawn to make sure than not an ounce of the freshness, juiciness is wasted.

        • This wine is a unique blend from old vines that will show you a different, but real, face of Chile.
        • It’s a soft and gentle red that’s full of character and has notes of delicious fruits.
        • The wine is easy to drink in a very friendly way, quickly inviting a second glass...or two. I hope you enjoy it Angels!

        • Luca’s Telurico is a real stunner. It’s made from 80 year old vines, carefully hand harvested, aged in French oak barrels and simply oozes quality.
        • Intense deep ruby red in colour, its aromas ignite the sense immediately. Think kirsch and blueberry jam that develop into sumptuous nutmeg and cedar notes! It’s a juicy, mouth-watering delight with a fabulously long finish that is sure to impress.
        • By all means drink it up now but Luca says this one will also stand the test of time beautifully. We’re talking 10, 20 years easily…!

        • Fleurie is one of the twelve crus of Beaujolais and probably one of the most sought after.
        • Made with 100% Gamay grapes, it's a unique and feminine wine, famous for its wonderful soft, floral and fruity taste.
        • My Fleurie is a beautifully smooth and silky red wine with soft red and black berry fruits.

Smart move - you've found the Sweet Spot

Here's a juicy little nugget of insider info…

When it comes to wine, a small step in price = a HUGE leap in quality and taste

By spending £8-£10 for a bottle of wine, you're actually getting more than DOUBLE the quality of wine than a £6-£7 bottle …pretty impressive huh?

Sound too good to be true? It's not. Here's how it works…

As the price of a bottle increases, more of your money goes towards the delicious juice in the bottle rather than tax, duty and other boring stuff that adds nothing to the taste.

So you get a LOT more bang for your buck

These Sweet Spot wines have benefited from the very best fruit picked from immaculate vineyards, oodles of TLC, and a lil' extra Angel-funding at every step of the winemaking process.

Pull yer socks up. Because if these Sweet Spot beauties don't blow 'em off I don't know what will

I guarantee our Sweet Spot wines will blow you away. If they don't, then I'll give you every single penny back. So you've really got nothing to lose.
