Klein Grauburgunder Kirchenstuck 2017
About the wine
Elegant and complex old vines Pinot Gris
-
Peter selected the Grauburgunder grapes (that’s Pinot Gris to you and me) from his oldest vineyard where the vines are over 86 years old. Not a bad place to drop the ‘with age comes experience’ quote really, as it definitely rings true here.
- Full of ripe pear and nutty flavours, combined with a fresh elegance and creamy complexity that can only mean one thing… one glass just isn’t enough!
- Peter is the 15th generation of Kleins working as a winemaker so he really knows his stuff. There’s only a small number of bottles of this one so get your hands on it quick smart.
