About the wine
Single-vineyard Shiraz loaded with rich, exotic flavors
- Stephen's dangerously drinkable Shiraz hails from a single-vineyard Lodi estate that grows oodles of dark and juicy fruit.
- If you've never heard of Lodi, you have to check it out. This region is just a little off the beaten path, but it's producing sensational wines at very un-Californian prices.
- You'll open this when you just want to relax in the afternoon. Stick your nose in a glass and breathe in deep. This exotic, berry-packed red smells better than any perfume.
Best before
I recommend that you buy a few bottles and open them over some time. We had a bottle of my 2016 Shiraz the other night and it was awesome.
Serving advice
This wine should become more approachable as soon as it's opened!
Food match
Recently we had my Shiraz with grilled chicken and fresh asparagus. We grilled the chicken on one of those new sheets that allow grill marks and prevents burning. It's supposed to be healthier for you, I'll drink to that.

Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
