Domaine Riefle Alsace Organic Gewurztraminer 2019
Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll give you your money back. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Stunning Alsace Gewurtz from a 6th Generation Winemaker
- Jean-Claude is totally in tune with his vineyards. He knows them like the back of his hand and that they boast a totally unique combination of conditions - the quality of the soil and air, as well as the exposure to sunlight and wind here produce luxuriously intense flavours that are very hard to come by.
- He exclusively handpicks the best of the best from his vineyards before they are pressed and sent into the cellar for some TLC in traditional oak barrels.
- "Faint honeysuckle notes have an edge of lemon on the nose of this wine. The palate majors on youthful freshness, citrus aroma and fruity ease with its slender, off-dry body. This wine is vivacious and summery."

Serving advice
Serve at 8-10°C. Open 30 minutes before serving.
Food match
This Alsace Gewurztraminer will simply accompany your moments of conviviality and sharing and be an ideal companion for Tex-Mex, North-African and Indian food. It's aromatic power and off-dry body are perfect with spices like curry and pepper. Here in Alsace, we enjoy it with Munster cheese which is a soft and stinky cheese! I assume it will also be excellent with an old cheddar.
