About the wine
You'll find nothing but top fruit and pure winemaking talent in Ben's Organic Languedoc Syrah
- The Syrah grapes Ben uses for this wine come from the organic vineyards of Chateau Maris vineyard. It sits on the land of La Livinière, the premier wine-making village of AOC Minervois-La Livinière
- The vines were first planted by the Romans who were nurturing the grapes and making wines here 2,000 years ago. Inspired by the history of the vineyard, Ben has pulled out all the stops to produce this wine with as little intervention as possible - using no sulphur or yeast, just the pure product of top-quality fruit.
- With subtle red fruit, pure aromas on the nose, velvety tannins in the mouth and an elegant long finish, this juicy yet effortlessly light wine is delightfully easy drinking!

Meet the winemaker - Benjamin Darnault
- When Ben left a safe winemaking job in Australia to move back to France with his young family in the noughties, at first he really struggled. The financial crash of 2007/08 clobbered the winery he was working at, so they had to let him go. He couldn’t catch a break.
- That was until Angels freed Ben from the corporate fat cats and transformed his livelihood. Thanks to Angels, Ben was finally able to set up on his own and realise his lifelong dream of putting his own name on the label. Even better, he had an advance on his next vintage!
- With Angel support, Ben has been able to invest more, source even better fruit and establish strong relationships with local growers to improve the quality of his delicious wines year-on-year. With thousands of rave reviews, he’s a bonafide Naked icon.
