F. Stephen Millier Maddie Lane Lodi Chardonnay 2018
About the wine
Crisp Chardonnay from sustainably-farmed Lodi vineyards
- This ripe, limited-edition Chardonnay is a fruit-driven easy-sipper, with a mix of tropical fruit flavors, green apple and a slight lemon zest that glide together into a refreshing finish.
- For this 2018 Maddie Lane Chardonnay, Stephen sourced grapes from certified sustainable vines growing in Lodi’s Mokelumne River subregion. These grapes were night harvested and gently pressed in the winery to preserve as much fruity character as possible.
- After a couple years of aging, this Chardonnay’s flavors are currently hitting their stride. Take Stephen’s advice and make this the perfect sipper just before dinner, or pair it with a plate of lightly-sauced pasta.
Best before
This Chardonnay is in its prime right now - no need for additional aging.
Serving advice

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Stephen Millier
- Stephen is no stranger to gold medals, but usually his prestigious employers are the only ones in the limelight.
- We offered Stephen some Angel funding to set aside some of his favorites wines and vineyards to make a special range with his name on the label just for us, and he jumped at the opportunity.
- If you like underdogs, Stephen's your man. He will find the over-looked and under-appreciated and he will take precious care to make sure they grow into big, beautiful wines that deserve more attention.
