- Even when powerhouse Lodi Cabernet would have been enough on its own, Evangelos dared to go even bigger and bolder, aging the wine in French oak barrels for 10 months to bring you a red with such smoothness and complexity, it's simply irresistible.
- Make sure you give yourself plenty of time for enjoying this Cab – with this much elegance and flavor, you’ll need to take an extra minute or two after each sip to let it all sink in and catch your breath again.
Best before
The wine will be great for another 5-10 years. It should be perfect to drink in 2-3 years, but I couldn't wait that long because it tastes great right now too.
Serving advice
Aerate or decant at least 30 minutes before drinking. The wine is still young and would benefit from some air. Enjoy at temperatures between 63º-69ºF.
Food match
Greek pork gyro from my favorite Greek restaurant in Sacramento, grilled spring lamb chops, a bleu cheese or Gorgonzola burger.
