Antonio Diez Martin Ribera del Duero Crianza 2018
About the wine
Sumptuous red from one of Spain's top wine regions
- If you enjoy Tempranillo, wait 'til you taste this delectable Crianza (aged a minimum of two years, one in oak) – the rich red fruits, spice and luxurious finish will leave your taste buds wanting more.
- With Angel funding, Antonio harvested grapes from one of Spain's most prestigious wine regions, right on the banks of the Duero River. The stony river soil makes the vines work twice as hard, producing fruit with robust flavor.
- This savory red is perfect for equally savory dishes like juicy rack of lamb with freshly-cracked pepper. (Don’t forget to let it breathe for a bit before sipping.) ¡Salud!
Best before
After 12 months in oak, this wine is maturing nicely. It can be drunk now - or will last 5-10 years if stored correctly.
Serving advice
I would advise opening the wine a couple of hours before drinking - and if you are in too much of a hurry, decant it and serve. The wine should be served at room temperature.
Food match
Any roast meat would be great with this wine - but the speciality of our region is roast lamb, and this wine is the perfect accompaniment. Also perfect with hard strong cheese, such as a quality Manchego. Enjoy!
