Xavier Jaubert's Story
"Both my parents came from a long family tradition of wine-growing. They married on August 21st 1965 and built together the R. JAUBERT vineyard which today is branded under three different properties (Mont Saint Pey, Landonnet, Arzac). The Landonnet story started in 1970 when my father inherited Château Landonnet which had belonged to his mother’s family for over 200 years.
Ambitious and passionate, they decided in 1983 to buy the Château Arzac in the Graves region with only 3 hectares of vines but an outstanding terroir showing rich potential.
In 2004, the acquisition of Château Allégret by their children, Béatrice and myself (Xavier) marks a new turning point. Today, the Jaubert family is proud to offer you wines from our 130 hectares domain coming from a range of different terroirs.
We hope you enjoy the Landonnet very much. The vineyard has been in my family for so many generations and we are very proud of the wonderful wines it produces.
Enjoy the classic taste of Bordeaux!"
