About the wine
Bags of sunshine and the Hawkes Bay altitude give this Pinot Gris some serious attitude
- One of New Zealand's most talented winemakers, Rod Easthope, got a blank check to choose any grapes he wanted. The results are simply sublime.
- Boy oh boy.... where do we start? Fresh, juicy, light, and more fruit than you can shake a stick at. Bags of sunshine and the Hawkes Bay altitude give this Pinot Gris some serious attitude.

Best before
Drinkl now or within the next three years. With a couple of years in bottle a more honeysuckle like aroma and creamier texture will develop.
Serving advice
Start with it well chilled and allow to warm a little the glass. A multifaceted wine will emerge as the temperature changes. Other than that, just twist and pour!
Food match
This wine is incredibly durable with a large range of foods. Lightly spiced shellfish dishes work well. But so does a bowl of pistachios in front of the game, or on it's own as an aperitif.

- Rod left his full-time post as Chief Winemaker at Craggy Range, New Zealand's most iconic winery, to set-up-shop alone and make an exclusive range of wines just for us, using the BEST grapes that Hawke's Bay, Marlborough and Central Otago have to offer.
- Rod is an immense talent, whose wines are dripping in medals, rave journalist reviews and oodles of Parker Points - and he can now strike out on his own thanks to Angel funding and backing!
