About the wine
Spectacular Petit Verdot from a Napa legend
- Matt is an extremely well-connected winemaker in the Napa Valley, from his time overseeing the winemaking at Beringer, Stags' Leap and others.
- He pulled some strings and got some of the most insanely sought-out Petit Verdot from a vineyard that we cannot name. I can't even tell you the high end brands it usually goes into because you'd be able to figure out the vineyard instantly.
- Petit Verdot would normally get blended into a bigger Cabernet-based wine, but this was so spectacular, Matt said he wanted to do a special bottling and keep it separate to showcase the unique fruit. Angel-funding gave him the freedom to do exactly that.

Meet the winemaker - Matt Parish
- After 25 vintages overseeing the winemaking of brands like Beringer, Stags’ Leap and Etude and many more, Matt launched his own brand thanks to Angels' support!
- Matt’s a laser-precise winemaker. We asked him for a rich, smooth Napa Cabernet. He delivered. We asked him for a silky, elegant Sta. Rita Pinot Noir... and he makes the best one we have ever tasted.
- Voted by US Angels as their “2017 Winemaker of the Year”; our friends from across the pond are a discerning bunch so you can trust their judgement completely!
