Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.

About the wine
Bold Portuguese-inspired red by way of California Gold Country
- This rich, refined red is an elegant mix of powerful dark fruits like black cherry, blueberry and plum with a soft, silky finish – it’s half Touriga Nacional, half Tempranillo and 100% irresistible.
- Thanks to your funding, Ana combined the best parts of Portugal and California – the two wine regions she knows best – into this rare, stunning red, exclusively made for Angels like you!
- "This is the kind of red blend that you'll love to drink with Italian-inspired dishes and roasted meats,” Ana says, “or just sip all night long!”
Best before
This wine will be very approachable right away, but you'll be rewarded if they lay down a few bottles for a few years. This Portuguese-style red blend will age nicely over the next 5 10 years. However, if you choose to enjoy it now, you are in for a treat.
Serving advice
As a young and bold red wine, it will benefit tremendously from being decanted for 1-2 hours before enjoying it I recommend pouring yourself a glass and seeing how it opens up over time and how the palate and fruit notes evolve.
Food match
Italian-inspired dishes will pair beautifully with this red blend, particularly a red sauce. I love an elaborate meat cannelloni, which brings me back to Sunday lunches with my family (it is one of my favorite dishes!). Pizza is also on my list, particularly a grown-up pizza (a.k.a. gourmet pizza!). But a pepperoni will also do in a pinch!
But my go-to is a cast iron skillet roasted chicken with root vegetables and loads of crunchy sourdough to soak up the juices... The pairing is absolute perfection. Simple Sunday dinner!!
