Johan explains why South African winemakers urgently need your support

Needed: 2,000 Angels to throw 6 South African winemakers an urgent lifeline

South Africa’s lockdown has been one of the strictest in the world - with a total ban on alcohol sales. They’re currently in the midst of a second total lockdown, where all wine sales were banned immediately - leaving the industry on its knees.

For a country with wine at its heart, it’s been a huge blow. And for small winemakers, it’s been totally devastating. With no end date to the ban, and nowhere to sell their wines, they’re stuck between a rock and a hard place.

The best way we can support them is by drinking their wines. So we’ve chosen 6 talented and deserving producers to throw a lifeline to. In return, you’ll save £57 on a case of seriously delicious South African hidden gem wines.
