Here’s what we’re doing...

We realise how important it is to get wine to you at this time. We’re currently taking orders on a handful of pre-built and pre-order cases, to enable our warehouse and delivery folk to get your wine to you as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Really sorry that you’re not able to choose your own wines right now. We’re working on getting this sorted and will keep you updated here as soon as we have more capacity to offer this option.

We're currently only accepting orders from Angels - so we can do our best by our loyal customers, who support our winemakers all year round.

Hello,

I’m sure you’ve received a lot of updates from different companies over the past few days, updating you on their plans during this uncertain time... well, here’s ours.

We are monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. Our main priority is keeping our customers, staff, suppliers and community of winemakers safe and getting your wine to you safely.

As the situation progresses, our plans may change. But here’s what we’re doing right now...

We’re migrating our entire office staff (including our Customer Happiness team) to be working from home by Tuesday 17th March. During this time, we’ll be doing our very best to offer our usual level of service. But our phone lines will probably be more limited than usual. So please bear with us and perhaps try our email or live chat services if you need a quick response.

Deliveries

We’re working closely with our warehouse and delivery folk, who have their own plans to make sure their people are safe. If you are self-isolating or would prefer a no-contact delivery service, you can request to have your wine delivered to a safe place.

We know it’s important to keep the wine flowing at a time when we probably need it more than ever. So we’ll continue to deliver wine as long as it is safe for you and everyone we employ.

Over the past few days we’ve seen more people than usual coming to the site to stock up on wine, which is likely to impact our usual service levels. We will post the latest delivery updates at the top of this page as they happen.

Our wines and winemakers

Our shelves may not be as well-stocked as they usually are. This is because we’re waiting for a lot of new vintages to arrive, as we do at this time every year. We’re bringing in as much wine as we can.

We have been in regular contact with our winemakers around the world to check that they are safe and well. Of course, we will continue to support them in any way we can.

Tasting Tour

If you have tickets for our summer tasting tour in June, please rest assured that we’re keeping tabs on the situation and the cost of your ticket will be refunded if we cancel.

Staying connected

Staying connected to others is important at a time like this. So please don’t forget you have a community of fellow wine lovers in our online groups to turn to if you need someone to share a laugh or a virtual glass with.

We’ll continue to keep a close eye on what the government and health experts are saying. The wellbeing of our customers, staff, suppliers and community of winemakers is our priority and we will continue to evolve our plans as the situation develops.

Most importantly, I hope you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy during this time. Keep smiling, wash your hands, drink wine. We are all in this together, and we will get through it together.

Best wishes,

Eamon, Wine Guy
