Nuiton Beaunoy Meursault 2014
About the wine
Classic Burgundy from an ultra-premium winery
- I've worked with the Nuiton Beaunoy winery for many years making my Pinot Noir and I've always admired and loved these tiny and rare parcels of ultra-premium wines that their winemaker nurtures. They're normally unavailable outside the winery, but I persuaded him to let me show it to you!
- I wanted to show these wines to you Angels, I'm proud to work with this winemaker and to showcase one of his gems, bringing you the chance to try a wine that is usually very rare and expensive.
- Nuiton Beaunoy Meursault 2014 is a classic but modern style of full bodied Chardonnay, with barrel fermentation and extended lees ageing from old vines. A classic Burgundy, with toasted oak, ripe tropical fruits and a long creamy, nutty finish. There's only a few hundred bottles available, and is good to drink now, but will also age beautifully over the coming years.
