North Beach Sauvignon Blanc 2021
Market Price
To show you the value you're getting as an Angel...
We regularly benchmark a selection of our wines against up to three comparable wines on the market. The Market Price is based on the price of those wines.
What do we mean by benchmark? We taste them blind against our own wines, or we use our market knowledge (over 40 years between us) to set an industry standard Market Price.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Market Price, or it's not your cup of tea, we'll give you your money back. For more info, see our FAQS.

About the wine
Stunning South African Sav Blanc, saved from the waves
- The cool climate of the Elgin Valley produces some of the tastiest Sauvignon Blanc South Africa has to offer, so when Rudi spotted an idyllic vineyard in need of a winemaker he couldn't believe his luck.
- Without all of your help this wine would never have seen the inside of a wine bottle, destined instead to be sold off as 'bulk wine' dissapearing into a massive multi-origin, nameless blend - now that would be criminal!
- The North Beach is harvested early in the early hours of the morning to preserve the grapes lightness of touch. This is offset expertly by the fresh cut grass aromas and bright pop of tropical fruit on the palate... YUM

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Rudi Schultz
Rudi Schultz hails from something of a golden generation, having grown up in a family of 5 brothers, three of them would eventually go on to become winemakers.
Having learnt his craft under the tutelage of SA wine legend Gyles Webb, Rudi launched his own winery in 2002 and caught the attention of critics straight away, with rave reviews for his maiden vintage Syrah. Since then, he’s made a string of critically-acclaimed, top-shelf wines from Stellenbosch and the Western Cape, which you now get to enjoy first-hand.
In his spare time, Rudi teaches surfing and ocean safety in his local community. In fact, he’s such a keen surfer, all of his wines are named after famous surf spots. So just pour yourself a glass of Pepper Street and dive right in. Cowabunga!
