i-Latina La Armonia Vineyard Syrah 2016
About the wine
When you first open the bottle you might notice a few tiny bubbles. But don't worry, it still tastes delicious.
Irene Paiva’s i-Latina Syrah was the first ever wine she made with her name on the label… she calls it her ‘emblematic wine’.
When she was bottling her latest vintage, Irene made a whoopsie. Here’s what happened...
Winemakers add a smidge of CO2 when bottling, to stop oxygen spoiling the wine. When Irene was bottling the 2016 vintage, she added a touch too much CO2, oops. So when you first open the bottle you might notice a few tiny bubbles. But don’t worry, it still tastes delicious.
We think it’s only fair we knock a couple of quid extra off the price. So you’ll be getting a truly handmade, small production Syrah worth £19.99 market price for just £9.99 a bottle. And if you don’t enjoy it you get your money back, so there’s no risk.
