Storm Brewing The award winning Storm Brewing Company was formed in 1998 by partners Hugh Thompson and David Stebbings. Operating from a former pub on Waterside in Macclesfield - The Mechanics Arms (which closed in 1937) - the brewery produces a range of seventeen different beers.
