Stamps Brewery commenced brewing in 2013. It is a small micro brewery, producing a maximum of 4.5 barrels (36 gallons) per brewing session. We are situated in the basement of a small business centre on the edge of the Liverpool city boundary. We have had a joint partnership in an established real ale pub called Stamps Bar, in Crosby, North Liverpool, for over 17 years. It seemed a natural progression to begin to produce beer for the pub. Hence the name of the brewery. Any spare capacity is sold in a few local bars. Environmentally Friendly Beer The brew plant is environmentally friendly: power is partly generated by 52 solar panels on the building's roof, a biomass boiler provides heating, and all of the used grain is taken to a local city farm were it is fed to 'grateful' pigs!
