Deep below the historic hamlet of Llantrisant is the fabled home of the Asrai Pixies, where ancient stories tell of a magical potion that the pixies would drink to live long and in good health. The waters used for this potion were drawn from the natural source which is known as Pixie Spring, the very same spring from which we draw from to make our range of traditional beers. We cannot guarantee that by drinking our beers it too will promote long life and good health, but we can say that they contain nothing but the purest water and finest malts & hops to conjure unique tasting beers, with maybe just a hint of Pixie Spring magic. An indulgent use of the finest New World hops, British malted barley and pure Welsh spring water is complimented to produce quality ales of distinction. Our ales are triple hopped during the boil and dry hopped in the cask to maximise both taste and aroma, so please understand that these beers are not for the faint hearted or for those who do not enjoy a fullness of flavour in the glass. We produce a range of fine ales and stouts which we believe will offer a unique taste experience coming from an exciting blend of hops sourced from all over the globe. We believe in hops, hops and more hops, which distinguish our beers from all others. Pixie Spring are one of only a few breweries in Wales using natural spring water in our process. There are only four ingredients used in the production of our fine Ales and stouts; malt, hops, yeast and spring water. Unlike other breweries, we do not add chemicals to neutralise the water, we simply draw it from our on-site spring to provide a crisper, clearer taste for you to enjoy.
