Established as a new brewery in February 2012, Blackjack Beers has hit the Manchester Brewery scene with a bang. Founded by passionate brewer, Robert Hamilton, Blackjack Beers have since launched a range of beers in keeping with a deck of cards theme. The newest micro-brewery in Manchester Robert Hamilton, originally from Wrexham, moved to Manchester 12 years ago to study but soon found himself working in brewpubs and surrounded by passionate brewers. It was here that his interest in breweries and beers began. Over five years, Robert worked in various pubs including The Marble Arch Pub and The Crescent in Salford where he gained specialist knowledge in brewing and a keen taste for beers. From his time at The Marbles, Robert acquired a 4.5 barrel micro-brewery which he installed in Gould Street in Manchester's Northern Quarter. The first creations produced by Blackjack Beers can be found in many pubs in Manchester and are not to be missed.
