The Atomic Brewing co Ltd was founded by business partners Nick Pugh & Keith Abbis and situated at the rear of the Alexandra Arms a seven times winner of Rugby's pub of the year The equipment was initially leased to the Atomic Brewery by the landlord of the Alexandra Inn Mr Julian Hardy who had also been a brewer working for sometime at the Park Royal brewery in London. The first brew was called Atomic Test and was brewed on the 20th Feb 2006. The following year saw the acquisition of the breweries first pub the Victoria inn. The Victoria has see a steady and sustained increase in custom and has now become a very popular local offering a huge range of real ales including a number from Atomic. At the end of 2010 Mr Hardy of the Alexandra arms decided to call time and put the pub up for sale. This initially threatened the existence of the Brewery but after some bargaining the brewery bought its second freehold property which of course included the brewery. We are now in a process of consolidation and improvement to ensure both pubs and the brewery are running efficiently.
