Annick Tinel-Blondelet's Story
Annick Tinel-Blondelet's Story
"I started managing the Estate, after earning my diploma in Viticulture and Oenologie in Beaune.
Wine has always been a passion in the family, for more than 400 years. I took over the running of the Estate from my parents, Camille & Fernand, in 1983. The story really began, however, with Guillaume Blondelet, who was a winegrower at Chaulgnes, at the end of the XVIth century.
Becoming a winemaker was an obvious choice for me after helping all the time her parents during my childhood. I love the diversity of the work. Working in the vineyard, in the cellar, in the office or in the wine shop are all very different activities. Moreover, according to the season, the work in the cellar or in the vineyard is very different.
I try to produce wines full of finesse and elegance whilst matching my personality: authentic, frank and full of vitality. Authenticity is very important for me, and I'm driven by the desire to preserve the typicity of my wines, reflective of their origins, their terroirs.
I like working the sauvignon grapes for the fruit and the freshness of the wines, I hope you enjoy the results of our work"
