Jiarg (pronounce it "Y'arg") is the Manx word for Red in the sense of glowing and burning which reflects this stunning beer perfectly. It can also refer to the bloodshot colour of eyes. But let's not dwell on overindulgence!The beer has a rich ruby red colour from the use of crystal malts. There is a spicy citric hop aroma from the Amarillo hops. An initial sweetness leads to a very smooth easy drinking beer which belies its 4.7 ABV.
