Skipper's Ticket

Lerwick Brewery

Bitter ABV 4.00%

Shetland is a seafaring place: its sailors traders explorers and fishermen have always roamed the foaming tide. To achieve your Skipper's Ticket - your passport to the seas - installs a great pride in those who pass the mark pride we too hold for our flagship Pale Ale. Our Skipper's Ticket beer has travelled the seas bringing together three nationalities of hops: the English East Kent Golding the Czech Perle and the American Willamette. The resultant aroma is a beguiling combination of nuts and spices. Chestnut Amber in colour and a modest 4.0% ABV in strength it matches its exotic aroma with a depth of fruits and spices on the palate and a well-rounded bitterness to finish. Effervescence is kept purposefully low to produce a beer that tingles the taste buds without heaviness. Our serving suggestion would be to curl up by the fire and relive the tales of the high seas whilst enjoying our Skippers Ticket at a cellar temp of between 11 and 13C.
