With centuries of patronage Mild remained the most popular beer style in England until the 1960's. Former Lacons employees will remember a sombre February morning in 1968 when the last brew of Mild signalled the closure of the original brewery. Today our modern expression has dark cherry tones with refreshing stone fruits on the nose. Toasted nutty flavours blend with roasted coffee into a warm slightly sweet ending.
