The Black Flight was a legendary World War One fighter squadron. In just two months its Royal Navy pilots shot down 87 German aircraft. Their warhorse was the Sopwith Triplane - built by the Thames in Kingston. Painted black it was a truly distinctive machine. We hope our session stout keeps the Black Flight legend alive.
