Based if some what loosely on the Scottish style of beer. Using the Green Man as a base beer I add gooseberries at the end of the ferment this gives us a very tart light coloured beer that I use to seduce lager drinkers on to the path of righteousness. The bottled version served slightly chilled is a favourite summertime tipple a real thirst quencher. The label was created by a young lad who I met at the Norwich farmers market; a pseudo map of Scotland with an invented town of Grozet... has fooled many a tourist - "I have been to that part of Scotland but I have never been there...". A silver at Peterborough in 2004.
