Our session Ale - Knight on the tiles is a 4.0 % Best Bitter. Dark amber in colour this perfectly balanced cask ale is refreshingly sweet to start with a subtle hop finish. The famous medieval Chertsey tiles. These belong to the largest group of tiles in the British Museum's collections found at the site of Chertsey Abbey. They depict a vigorous display of valour of Richard the Lion Heart with his lance. Samples can be seen at the Chertsey museum.
