Decadent single-vineyard Petite Sirah from your leading Paso Robles winemaker
- Each sip of this luscious Petite Sirah brings you a mouthful of rich dark fruit flavors, like blackberry or blueberry jam, with a pinch of peppery spice bringing a soft kick to the long, lingering finish.
- Your funding helped Sharon harvest high-end grapes from Mueller Vineyard, a hillside site where the vines get the perfect exposure to the summer sun as it rises and sets, resulting in a deeply concentrated and robust set of flavors.
- To give this powerful Petite Sirah an extra dose of elegance, Sharon used Angel funding to age the wine in French oak barrels for a full year. Now it’s finally ready for you to savor, but with less than 600 cases to go around, this is one red you don’t want to sleep on!
Best before
This red is approachable now with a good 60-minute decant prior to drinking, but will only get better with more time in the bottle. This Petite Sirah will age well through 2029.
Serving advice
Please do not open this wine on the day you receive it. This is a young wine and I do recommend decanting this wine for at least an hour before enjoying it to allow the flavors to fully develop. This also helps soften the tannins and will give the wine a smoother taste. I also recommend letting all of your wines rest for a minimum of 2 weeks after receiving them to allow them to recover from the shipping. The shipping really does impact the aromatics and flavors of the wine and does make a difference on how much you will enjoy your wines.
Food match
Red meats, stews, braised and grilled meats, short ribs, hamburgers and barbecue of all types would go wonderfully with this Petite Sirah.

- It started as a few odd jobs in the cellar, and turned into a winemaking gig. Over 30 years later, Sharon can't imagine ever wanting to do anything else.
- Sharon's responsible for making some seriously great wines for others – thousands over her 30-year career. But she's always disappointed after the wine's shipped off... all that hard work, and she never hears what becomes of it!
