About the wine
A Willamette wonder from Chris Baker
- Chris makes a dazzling comeback with this rendition of his Pinot Gris, a followup to his highly-rated 2017 PG that had thousands of Angels raving and took Gold at the San Francisco Wine Competition
- Chris’s second round is seriously refreshing and bursting with tangy lemon, ripe peach and juicy melon that make this wine a little too easy to sip and even harder to put down
- With your help, aka Angel funding, Chris was able to blend grapes from three top-tier vineyards across the Willamette Valley to give this wine complex layers of flavors and aromas for you to slurp through. Enjoy!
Best before
It is ready to drink now, so enjoy. My rule of thumb is about 4 to 6 years for a white, but this one is so good it will not last a couple months without ordering more.
Serving advice
Chill, open, and enjoy. It is an easy drinker on its own, but also has enough structure to pair with almost any food. If you open it while you are cooking, you may want to have a second bottle in the fridge because it may not make it to dinner otherwise.
Food match
Boiled fresh caught Dungeonous crab, or pan fried razor clams would be at the top of the list, but this wine would go with almost anything. Roasted fresh picked beet salad, or spicy Thai food are on the daily menu as well.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Chris Baker
Brace yourself for lavish, ripe wines from Willamette’s most treasured vineyards – made by the man who makes some of the country’s most expensive Pinot Noir!
With Angels' help, Chris is uncovering the ultra-posh wines from this 100-point region's sub-appellations – including Dundee Hills, Ribbon Ridge and Yamhill-Carlton.
He's a quiet, passionate guy that loves putting in 110% to make each vintage better than the last, but don't let the modesty fool you! You fund a world-class talent, and you're giving him the freedom to make Willamette shine.
