Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.

About the wine
Vibrant, luxurious Cabernet from Napa's legendary Diamond Mountain District
- Rudy took this Napa Cabernet and turned it up to 11. This is a dark dive into classic flavors like rich black cherry, enhanced by generous French oak barrel aging.
- There are Napa Cabernets – and then there are Diamond Mountain District Cabs! It’s one of Napa’s smallest, most exclusive subregions – Rudy is its founder, and a 13-time Winery of the Year winner, for *very* good reason.
- Rudy’s made wines from Diamond Mountain for more than 30 years, and the 2019 vintage – rated 93 points by Wine Enthusiast! – is one of his best yet. Collect a few while you can!
Best before
Aging is very personal: some people love the intensity and wow factor of young wines, others like the complexity of an older wine. So when to drink this is up to you. However, the wine will continue to improve for at least 12 years if stored properly at around 55ºF.
Serving advice
Call your best friends over and break out your best glasses.
Food match
I love this wine with game, lamb and hearty stews. But it is even great for sipping on its own.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Rudy von Strasser
Rudy von Strasser is a Napa legend — he played a huge part in founding the Diamond Mountain District, famous for its Cabernet. By rallying everyone in the region, he put the AVA (American Viticultural Area) on the map in 1999!
Rudy met Naked through Alex Farber — he was looking to expand his portfolio with some beautiful Petite Sirah, but didn’t have enough room in his winery.
Angel funding helped make that Petite Sirah possible. When he brought us his other wines, we knew we’d hit the jackpot! Rudy’s now able to share his wide range of Diamond Mountain District wines with Angels across the country.
