Serving advice
As with most young reds, this wine will benefit from some aeration. Try to open your bottle at least 30 minutes before serving, and pour a little into a glass. "Swirl and sniff every 10 minutes or so," Tom says. "You'll know when to taste!"
Food match
Tom's favorite pairing for this red is pasta with a rich bolognese sauce and a sprinkling of chili flakes. It also makes a great pairing with a variety of foods including grilled or roast meats, charcuterie and medium sharp cheeses.
