Market Price
Angels save money compared to Market Price...
Our market price is what you’d actually have to pay for this wine at an old-fashioned retail store.
It’s based on the price of wines sold at other companies, that have received the same customer ratings or awards from third parties.
If you buy one of our wines and disagree with the Angel Price, we’ll add a credit to your account.

About the wine
The wine that earned a spotlight - and a 10-person film crew
-
Scott's rich, creamy Chardonnay courses with decadent flavors from barrel fermentation and aging, but that big and BRIGHT Sonoma fruit can't hide. This is pure indulgence from a master.
-
You led Scott to a renowned vineyard in Petaluma Gap. This new Sonoma region has wild air conditioning - it gets the first of the fog, and has the last of the fog to recede. That creates Chardonnay with perfect acidity... it's a winemaker's dream. He loves flexing his techniques to balance its brightness and richness.
-
Thanks to your funding, Scott was one of the first to make Chardonnay from Petaluma Gap. Now he’s bringing his beloved Reserve back (the same one featured in The New Yorker!) for another stunning vintage... and it's more delectable than ever.
Watch Scott's New Yorker feature below. Filmed at Roberts Road Vineyard, Petaluma Gap.
Best before
This will age up to 3 years, maybe longer if stored under ideal conditions.
Serving advice
Let the wine warm up a bit - 20 minutes from the refrigerator - and give it some air. It's a wondrous Chardonnay.
Food match
Roasted or grilled chicken, poached rock cod and shellfish like crab, lobster or shrimp with a creamy, buttery sauce.
Contains sulphites
Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Scott Peterson
Scott spent over 20 years making wine for storied Sonoma wineries like Kendall-Jackson and Buena Vista – as well as Argentina’s Nicolás Catena Family of Wines and Chile’s Axel and La Playa Wines – before Angel support allowed him to march to his own drum.
Scott loves working with Angel funding because you allow him to make the wines he wants to. He's old school, and he doesn't want to make new styles just because they’re trendy.
If you like gloriously decadent, no-holds-barred wines, buy everything Scott makes. You will not regret it.
