Miriam California Tempranillo 2020
About the wine
Robust, single-vineyard Tempranillo - a full-powered Spanish classic by way of Lodi
- Big, bold, juicy, mouth-filling – this luscious Tempranillo checks all the right boxes! Each sip is overflowing with refined, complex red berry flavors, a soft kick of toasty spice from oak aging and a long, deep, lip-smacking finish.
- Your funding helped Best of Class winemaker Alex Farber harvest this traditional red Spanish varietal from a sustainably-farmed vineyard tended by a 5th generation farming family in the heart of Lodi.
- “I’m thrilled that Angels have given me a chance to showcase this classic Spanish varietal with a California twist!” Alex says. Treat yourself to a bottle of this powerhouse red while supplies last – you’ve earned it!
Best before
This is a wine that will drink well now or hold for years to come. If you're going to enjoy it shortly after receiving your bottle, I'd wait at least a week before popping it open.
Serving advice
Once you have it open it will do well with some air in a decanter or through an aerator.
Food match
This wine is going to be a showstopper with any traditional Spanish dish, like paella, tapas, or tortilla de patatas. I can't wait to hear what you are pairing this new wine with. Salute!

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Alex Farber
- Alex's first job out of winemaking school was for a famous Napa Valley winery. She absorbed its classic traditions and techniques, but she knew her own dream – to make classic wines joyous and modern – would be years away.
- Most young winemakers have to work 10, 15, even 20 years to earn a Winemaker title. Alex's big dreams weren't going to wait, so she asked Angels for a jumpstart, and they launched her into the big leagues.
- It was a clever investment. Not only is Alex one of Naked's top winemakers, she's earned Best in Class, Double Gold and Gold medals for her independent wines produced with your support. And she's just getting started!
