About the wine
A special-edition single-vineyard Verdot
- This deep red is filled with bold brambly berry, dark plum, and deep flavors – rich, spiced, and aromatic with every sip.
- Petit Verdot isn’t typically the headliner, but Matt’s making a strong case for this Bordeaux native to step into the spotlight, with premium grapes harvested from a small vineyard in Napa’s famed Rutherford region.
- As with most great wines, a little patience goes a long way. Matt recommends letting this VIP red rest for the next 2 years or so…and if you can’t wait, be sure to decant!

Made to cellar for 5-10+ years with an ideal drinking time of between 2 and 7 years after bottling - but who knows?
Serving advice
Serve at cellar temp ~58F, uncork and rest for 30 mins to 1 hour, decant and serve.
Food match
For me this is all about drinking with well-marbled steak - the acidity and tannins from the wine match perfectly.
