About the wine
Classic and creamy Chardonnay straight from the hills of Napa
- Matt’s Napa Chardonnay is one decadent layer after another of luscious tropical flavors, with a luxurious, creamy smoothness thanks to extravagant barrel-fermenting in French oak.
- Your funding gave Matt access to high-end fruit grown way up above the Napa Valley floor in the exclusive hills of Atlas Peak, where high altitudes and rocky soils help primo Chardonnay develop and ripen with an otherworldly depth of flavor.
- These grapes are exceptionally rare, meaning Matt could only source enough to bring Angels fewer than 1,500 cases of this precious white wine. This cherished Chardonnay won’t stick around for long – it never does!
Best before
It will be great upon release and will continue to improve over the next 5+ years.
Serving advice
Serve slightly chilled but not too cold. 55-58º F would be perfect.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Matt Iaconis
- This rocket scientist was studying to be an astronaut before he decided wine was even cooler than space. So he dropped aeronautics and picked up a degree in winemaking from UC Davis.
- And he dropped conventional distribution just as quickly! When he saw the power of Angel funding, he immediately signed up, eager to create better wines at better prices.
- Angel funding allows this hugely talented and driven individual to apply all his attention to making the best wine possible. Whether he’s keeping it classic with big, bold Cabernet or putting a fresh, vibrant spin on traditional whites, you freed Matt to make show-stopping wines for an incredibly delicious price.
