About the wine
Vibrant Oregon Pinot with historic roots
- Flush with ripe red berry and cherry flavors, topped with delicate spice, this red is everything you're looking for in an elegant Oregon Pinot.
- Ken headed straight to the Willamette Valley's original Pinot vineyards, first planted in 1966. He was one of the first to champion this tiny pocket and knows the hills like the back of his hand...so you get to sip the best of the best.
- "This wine is a perfect introduction to the place that first put Oregon on the map for producing compelling Pinot Noir." notes Ken. Stock up now and save Oregon Pinot history.
Best before
If you prefer a fresh fruit profile, then this should be enjoyed between 2-5 years. If you prefer complexity and nuance that comes with bottle age, then 6-12 years is recommended.
Serving advice
Young wines benefit from 15-30 minutes of aeration. Older wines should not be decanted as the aromatics are fragile and ephemeral.
Food match
This is incredible with game poultry like quail or a Chanterelle mushroom tart.
Contains sulphites

Meet the winemaker - Ken Wright
Ken’s name is synonymous with Willamette Valley. As one of its pioneers, he was pivotal in the region’s growth and evolution. He helped put Oregon Pinot Noir on the map. Literally.
Ken launched his career in California, but Oregon won his heart before the rest of the world knew of its greatness. Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate designated his – and only his – Oregon winery as ‘Outstanding.’ He is the only Oregon winemaker to grace the cover of Wine Spectator. And now, a true legend of Oregon wine is moving to a new digital era – with you.
With Angel support, Ken can educate and communicate directly with you, delivering the pleasure of world-class Willamette Valley Pinot Noir to your doorstep.
