About the wine
German Riesling elegance defined
This lively dry Riesling from Urban and Eva tingles the taste buds with mouthwatering flavors like apricot and citrus – plus a smidge of ginger spice – all paving the way to a bright, brilliant finish.
With your support, the Kaufmanns harvested Riesling from their certified biodynamic vineyard in Germany’s historic Hattenheim (Rheingau) wine region – known around the world for Riesling quality and excellence.
"We are convinced that biodynamically produced wines offer greater complexity and are more enjoyable to drink,” said Urban and Eva. Now’s your chance to taste the difference. But – the Kaufmanns made fewer than 250 cases of this Riesling for 300,000 Angels – blink and you’ll miss it.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Urban & Eva Kaufmann
Urban and Eva Kaufmann’s story is something out of the movies. When they met in 2012, he was a rising star cheesemaker and she was the director of Germany’s largest wine organization. Within 2 years, they jumped headfirst into their winemaking life.
Eva had her heart set on becoming a winemaker and Urban was a wine lover, so they combined their savings to buy a winery in the heart of Germany’s historic Rheingau wine region, famous for its exquisite Rieslings.
They’ve already made their mark – converting the winery to biodynamic practices, replacing old oak barrels for stainless steel tanks, and winning praise from experts. Now it’s your turn to taste their first-class Rheingau wines.
