Jonathan Maltus Medoc 2017
About the wine
Luxurious Merlot-based red blend straight from Bordeaux
- Elegant and oh-so-silky, this blend of sumptuous Merlot and Cabernet is a fine French wine - with a POP of fruit you'll love.
- With your funding, Jonathan traveled to the north tip of Bordeaux – a region called the Médoc – where the sandy gravel and chalky clay soils make grapes grow up strong, concentrated and hearty. That gives this wine its characteristic oomph!
- Only a couple hundred cases were made – collect a bottle while you can!
Best before
Although the wine is fruit forward, drinking well already, its fine tannins will allow it to improve with 2 to 3 years cellaring, and remain a drinking pleasure for up to 10 years.
Serving advice
Let it breathe for up to half an hour before drinking.
Food match
Grilled steak, game, stews, hard cheeses.
Contains sulphites

- If you want to drink from the world's most expensive wine region and one of the world's only 100 point winemakers, you can now do it for less than $20.
