This is Reenen’s flagship red. A mouthwateringly elegant and refined blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Syrah, handpicked from his very best plots and then lovingly aged in posh French oak to round it off with a touch of class.
Over the years, this sumptuous red has won Decanter medals and been named among the best wines in South Africa by the likes of wine boff Tim Atkin. And for good reason. It’s beautifully balanced, with enticing aromas of cassis and plum, along with all those fancy, complex characters - like cigar box, leather - that you’d normally find in a fine French wine. Then you take a sip and it’s deep and rich, full of elegant fruit flavours that coat your tastebuds and linger on until the very last drop.
