Best before
Absolutely ready to hit the dinner tables now, but the wine will continue to develop for the next 5-7 years. Aging will see the development of additional earthy characters and spice for the next few years.
Serving advice
Open with friends.....and have the second bottle ready! And it's always good to give it some air before it hits the table. With young reds try and open the wine about 20 minutes before serving.
Food match
Let's not get fancy with food pairings, coming into summer Hunter Valley Shiraz offers a great style of Shiraz to match with food. BBQ and pizzas with your nearest and dearest always makes for a great bottle. If you're feeling like hot and spicy Thai, beef salads and curries match just as well.
