About the wine
Stain your lips with this blackberry jam
This heavy-hitting fruit-packed red *tastes* purple. Lusciously so. While it has “petite” in the name, nothing's small about it – and finding a rare version from Sonoma is HUGE.
Russian River Valley is known for Pinot and Chardonnay, but it grows fantastic Petite Sirah - if you can get it. Sonoma springs, tributaries and foggy mornings allow even ripening of this thick-skinned, rich, and inky red grape. Ashley’s find is special!
Last vintage was gobsmacked with big wine awards (including a Decanter!). Bring the 2022 home and let a rare new trophy decorate your table.
Best before
My Petite Sirah is ready to drink now but will age for at least 5-7 years or longer.
Serving advice
I like to open my bottle an hour before I'm going to serve it to let it breathe and open up. It should be ready to drink after that!
Food match
I love this wine in the summer with grilled tri-tip and summer grilled vegetable salad and in the winter with a long cooked bolognese.
Contains sulphites
