- Your funding gave Ana an all-access pass to high-end grapes from her choice of Sonoma Valley vineyards, and helped her afford special French oak barrels to give this top-shelf Cabernet a full 20 months of aging for a luxurious, velvety finish.
- This world-class Cabernet is ideal for aging on the top shelf for a few years if you want to let the flavors evolve a bit more. Or enjoy a glass the same day it arrives – just be sure to give it an hour or two to sit after opening, and let every complex layer of flavor unfold.
Best before
This wine is ready to be enjoyed right away, even though it is a young wine. However, you can also lay it down in your cellar for the next 5-8 years.
Serving advice
As a bold, young Cabernet, please remember to allow the wine to air out and breathe for at least an hour before enjoying it. If you're patient, give this wine a good few months in the bottle, as it will truly benefit from a little extra aging.
Food match
A nice grilled steak is a perfect companion for this wine. My favorite cut is a New York steak, and I plan to pair it often with this wine! You also can't go wrong with balsamic portobello mushrooms, beef roasts, hearty Italian dishes, and of course, a classic pizza.
