Patrice's Story
Growing up in a winemaker’s family in a small village called La Varenne, near the Atlantic coast, surrounded by famous grapes. My love for winemaking was passed on through my grandfather and father. Since I was a little boy, I yearned to be a passionate winemaker like them.
I graduated from the famous Faculté d’Oenologie de Montpellier in the Languedoc-Rousillon to broaden and deepen my wine knowledge and winemaking skills. During my time in the South of France, I visited many different wine regions to ultimately understand the authentic characteristics of each unique terroir and became passionate about red wine making, too.
I have been lucky to work with the amazing and dedicated team at Villebois winery for many years. We've worked closely together to get the best understanding of the terroir and make the best viticultural and grape picking choices - and now they've passed the nakedwines.com torch to me!
Patrice's Archangels
Since my better half and I have found Naked Wines it has taken us to a different level! A different level in food preparation a different level in social interaction and a different level in just plain old enjoyment of life! Our journey has just begun and we have learned to slow down, breathe and go to places we never thought we would!
