About the wine
Sharon's rich, first-rate Cab is her Paso Robles passion project
- Rich, smooth and packed with ripe, punchy flavors of black cherry and plum, plus a dash of oaky spice and a dizzyingly long finish – Sharon captured all the things she loves about Paso Robles Cabernet and put them in a bottle, just for you!
- Calling on her best connections, Sharon sourced this Cab at ideal ripeness from a handful of high-end vineyards across the region, then aged the wine for 9 months in new French Oak barrels to give it that perfect little bit of extra oomph!
- The last vintage of Sharon’s Cab was her very first from Paso wine country, and it was so good it went into special magnum bottles that Angels raved over. Don’t miss the return of this classic Cab – more than a few Angels are already lined up for it!
Best before
It is approachable now with a good 60-minute decant prior to drinking, but will only get better with more time in the bottle. This will age well through 2028.
Serving advice
I recommend decanting this wine for 60 minutes prior to drinking to allow this wine time to breathe and open up for full aromatic and flavor development. I also recommend letting all of your wines rest for a minimum of 2 weeks after receiving them to allow them time to recover from the shipping. The shipping really does impact the aromatics and flavors of the wine.

Meet the winemaker - Sharon Weeks
- It started as a few odd jobs in the cellar, and turned into a winemaking gig. Over 30 years later, Sharon can't imagine ever wanting to do anything else.
- Sharon's responsible for making some seriously great wines for others – thousands over her 30-year career. But she's always disappointed after the wine's shipped off... all that hard work, and she never hears what becomes of it!
- Now that you've made her an independent winemaker, she loves sharing her big, enthusiastic winemaking style with Angels – and hearing what you think!
