- This refreshing Sauvignon Blanc comes packed with bright fruit flavors, a streak of citrus and a creamy, lush mouthfeel thanks to Mike’s choice of special barrel fermentation.
- Your funding helped Mike start with hand-picked Sauvignon Blanc from low-yielding New Zealand vineyards. On top of fermenting this Sauv Blanc in older oak barrels, Mike also let it age a bit longer on its lees to give it that extra little bit of complexity and smooth mouthfeel.
- Working with low-yielding vineyards gave Mike grapes doubly-packed with flavor, but it also meant he only had enough fruit to make less than 500 cases of this unique New Zealand staple. Now’s your chance to scoop up a few bottles while it lasts!

Meet the winemaker - Mike Paterson
- Mike used to be the Head Winemaker at one of New Zealand's finest, most prestigious Sauvignon Blanc wineries.
- He loved the job, but he also loved the idea of fulfilling his life-long dream of going it alone. Only problem was, the financial equation was "beyond scary" (as Mike put it!).
- That's where we (and our 100,000 Angels) stepped in. We've funded Mike to go it alone on one tiny, simple, lovely condition: he makes you some absolute stunners in the wine department. And from what we've tasted so far he's been true to his word...
