About the wine
Elegant, coastal Chardonnay
- This cool-climate Chardonnay is a delight to sip, with a sleek, refined texture that carries its fresh fruity flavors of ripe melon and zesty citrus into a long, luxurious finish.
- With your funding, Matt selected fruit from a mix of certified sustainable and organic vineyards along the Sonoma Coast, where cool and windy conditions help the grapes develop complex flavors over a long growing season.
- This Chardonnay is a special limited-release project from Matt – with only 40 barrels to go around, it’s sure to sell out in a flash. Make sure you have your share before that happens!
Best before
This Chardonnay is delicious now, but we expect it to age gracefully and improve over the next 5+ years.

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Matt Iaconis
- This rocket scientist was studying to be an astronaut before he decided wine was even cooler than space. So he dropped aeronautics and picked up a degree in winemaking from UC Davis.
- And he dropped conventional distribution just as quickly! When he saw the power of Angel funding, he immediately signed up, eager to create better wines at better prices.
- Angel funding allows this hugely talented and driven individual to apply all his attention to making the best wine possible. Whether he’s keeping it classic with big, bold Cabernet or putting a fresh, vibrant spin on traditional whites, you freed Matt to make show-stopping wines for an incredibly delicious price.
