Dave Harvey Upriver Washington Mourvedre Grenache Syrah 2021
About the wine
Rhône-style red meets the Pacific Northwest
- Brimming with dark flavors like juicy black plum, wild blackberry and ripe black cherry. With a kiss of French oak, it’s smooth and perfectly spiced.
- Angel support gave Dave primo Mourvèdre and Grenache from one of Washington’s warmest areas – plus Syrah from a cooler vineyard in Yakima Valley – to bring you his version of a classic French blend with American power.
- Carpe diem and seize Dave’s spin on a classic GSM. Dave doesn’t make much of this wine. It’s a limited edition style – don’t miss it!
Best before
It will age up to 4 years but it really drinks well now.
Serving advice
Let it breathe for about 20 minutes before serving.
Food match

Wine profile
Meet the winemaker - Dave Harvey
You freed a powerhouse Washington winemaker – Dave Harvey is quite the catch.
With your backing, he's combing the state – from the Columbia Valley river basin to southern Walla Walla – to make Northwest classics (and seriously shocking red blends, too... like his signature GSMmm Syrah!)
He's already clinched a Decanter award for the “Best Rhône varietal wine in the world.” Mark our words - now that Dave has Angel funding, that’s just a drop in the bucket.
